Turkey takes over the
EUREKA Chairmanship
Turkey has taken over the chairmanship of the EUREKA
Programme, which supports R&D projects within 42
member countries.
The EUREKA Chairmanship Launch Conference was
held with the participation of Nihat Ergün, Minister for
Science, Industry, and Technology, in İstanbul. Turkey
will chair the EUREKA Network, an international
cooperation platform, between July 2012 and June
2013. Under the EUREKA Programme, which will
be coordinated by TÜBİTAK, 120 Turkish companies
participated in 42 projects in the last two years.
