TÜBİTAK Took the First Step
for Electric Vehicles
TÜBİTAK has launched an initiative for electric vehicles by
facilitating the meeting of sector representatives so that the
necessary steps can be taken.
In addition to the representatives of the Ministry of Science,
Industry, and Technology, high-level managers of industrial
firms, academics conducting concrete research in the field,
high-level managers of the sector’s umbrella organisations,
and representatives of nongovernmental organisations
attended the Electric Vehicles Development Platform that
was organised at TÜBİTAK.
The aim of the meeting was to receive feedback regarding
large-scale project grants that will allow Turkey to take the
initiative in the emerging electric vehicles market and attain
a competitive advantage. The attendees were also consulted
for their insights into the steps that should be taken in the
future.
