Scientists of the Future Awards
Winners of the 20th National Science Olympiad and 17th National Primary
Mathematics Olympiad, organised by TÜBİTAK, and students who won
medals in the International Science Olympiads received awards.
The excitement of the final rounds of the National Science Olympiad
and National Primary Mathematics Olympiad took place in Ankara. A
total of 15,516 applications were received for the science Olympiads.
Students who reached the end of the second phase of examination
were rewarded at the ceremony with the participation of Minister of
Science, Industry, and Technology Nihat Ergün. Gold, silver, and bronze
medal winners of the National Science Olympiad were given 1,700$,
1400$, and 1100$, respectively. Mathematics Olympiad winners were
given book sets along with gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Medal winners also benefit from their success in the Undergraduate
Placement Exam. Additionally, they are supported by the 2205-National
Undergraduate Scholarship Programme if they register for any
academic programme relevant to their olympiad field.
