Today, we are in great pride, enthusiasm and happiness as we celebrate the 101st anniversary of the 30 August Victory, which was won with the sense of unity, solidarity, faith and determination of our nation under the command of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
With this victory, which emerged as a work of the Turkish nation's love of homeland, indestructible determination and will, not only the homeland lands were liberated from the enemy; the process of establishing the independent Republic of Turkey on solid foundations based on the will and sovereignty of the nation also began.
The Turkish nation has once again demonstrated to the whole world in front of history that it cannot be defeated as long as it maintains its unity, solidarity and will to live independently, even in the face of great impossibilities and under the most difficult conditions. TÜBİTAK, the leading institution of our country in science and technology, has been applying this culture of working together and achieving together, which it inherited from its ancestors, in the field of science and technology for 60 years since its establishment on 24 July 1963, and aims to ensure that our country develops and advances on the basis of science and technology and becomes a leading country in the international arena.
We are contributing and will continue to contribute to the spirit of National Struggle with our National Technology Movement, our Centres and Institutes, our scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs and students. As in the past, we will continue to be the most important and reliable supporter of our scientists, researchers, entrepreneurs, students and young people in the coming years by accepting the trust you left by saying "My spiritual heritage is science and wisdom" as our guide.
On the 101st anniversary of the great victory, I commemorate the Commander-in-Chief Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, who enabled us to celebrate this victory today, and all our martyrs who laid down their lives for our country with mercy, our veterans with gratitude and gratitude, and I sincerely celebrate the 30 August Victory Day of our beloved nation.
