  • The Purpose of the Program,
    • In this program, frequently imported devices and materials are intended to be developed nationally, without violating the patent rules. Thus, the new ones will be produced. Within the context of the program, the projects, which aim to create new features and new products by making additions to frequently used technological products, will be granted.

  • The Purpose of the Program,
    • The purpose of the program is to support the projects proposed by researchers who are from university, government institution and private R&D firms and do not participate in a project as a principal investigator granted by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) ARDEB (Research Support Programs Directorate).

3501 - Career Development Program (CAREER)

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM

The purpose of this program is to encourage scientists with PhD degrees and who are at the beginning of their scientific careers by supplying project funds for their studies. The other goals of the program are helping young scientists, who are going to be the academic leaders of the 21st century, maintain their careers as researchers and lecturers in the best possible way, improving the national scientific level and increasing the role of science in national development.

R&D Activities Survey 2011 Results are Announced

According to the results of R&D Activities Survey 2011 conducted by TurkStat, R&D Expenditures (GERD) in Turkey increased by 20.4% compared to the previous year and reached to 11.2 Billion TRY in 2011. The share of GERD in GDP was 0.86%, total number of full time equivalent (FTE) R&D personnel was 92,801 and FTE researchers was 72,109 in 2011.
