Purpose of the Program
In order to support TÜBİTAK's undergraduate and master scholars to continue their education in PhD level, former TÜBİTAK scholars who are enrolled PhD Programs in Turkey in the fields of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technological Sciences, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, are granted monthly scholarship to continue and complete their education.
Terms of Application
- To be a Turkish citizen or to hold Blue Card
- To be supported by TÜBİTAK National Undergraduate Scholarship Program or National Scholarship Program for MSc Students
- To be enrolled in a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree program in Turkey (special students are not acceptable) at the semester following the graduation semester of BS or MS studies and apply to the same period for scholarship
- To have MSc degree with a GPA of minimum 3.00/4.00 or 76.66/100 for post-Master’s PhD programs; or BSc degree with a GPA of minimum 2.80/4.00 or 72/100 for post-Bachelor’s PhD programs
- To have MSc degree with thesis for post-Master’s PhD programs (students who are enrolled in post-- Master’s PhD programs without thesis are not acceptable)
- To be not supported before as a PhD student by this program
- To be full-time Ph.D. students and unemployed for the applicants having a scholarship for their Ph.D. studies from other public institutions at the time of their application
