TÜBİTAK Science and Society Directorate will organise 5121 Science Talks between 2 October 2023 and 31 May 2024 this year. In order to share the exciting world of science and technology with students, it brings together students at primary, secondary and high school levels with leading scientists of our country. TÜBİTAK aims to encourage the journey to science by strengthening the communication between society and the world of science through science talks.
81 Provinces, 661 Districts, 5121 Science Talks
Within the scope of Science Talks, TUBITAK matches the applications of the scientists who want to give a talk and the institutions that want to host them at bilimsoylesileri.tubitak.gov.tr. In this context, 5121 schools/institutions in 661 districts of 81 provinces will host Science Talks. 2903 scientists from 189 universities in our country will meet with students all over our country at the Science Talks.
Science will be discussed in every corner of our country
From Aeronautics and Space Sciences to Renewable Energy, from Ecological Balance to Data Mining, from Genetics and Biotechnology to Astronomy and Astrophysics, scientists will be interviewed by students who are the scientists of the future on more than 60 topics, and science will be discussed together in 81 provinces for the bright future of our country in the Turkish Century.
