Our 6 students representing our country won 1 Gold and 5 Silver medals at the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad held in Chiba, Japan on July 2-13, 2023, where 623 students from 112 countries competed. Our students achieved a historical success and ranked our country 8th among 112 countries. With these results, we achieved the second highest success in our Olympic history.
Our young scientists, who were trained to represent our country in the international arena within the scope of the 2202 Science Olympics program carried out within TÜBİTAK BİDEB, proudly waved our flag in the Olympiad they participated in and put our country's name at the top. Among our students representing our country; Mehmet Can BAŞTEMİR won Gold, Barış KOYUNCU, Şevket Onur YILMAZ, Melek GÜNGÖR, Serdar BOZDAĞ and Hakan GÜNDOĞAN won Silver medals.
64th International Mathematical Olympiad, we congratulate our students who represented our country as future scientists. We would like to thank all our students who participated in the Olympiad, their families, teachers and all the academicians who took part in the trainings, especially our Committee Chairman.
