Evaluation Process of COVID-19 Call Completed
TÜBİTAK has launched a special call to support R&D projects aiming to find products that can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of the new type of coronavirus and to develop  protective products that are effective in preventing diseases. Within the scope of this special call, 446 applications were received in one-week period.

The new type of coronavirus (COVID-19), declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, has influenced our country as well as the whole world. In the face of this emergency, TÜBİTAK has launched a special call within the framework of TÜBİTAK 1507 coded SME RDI Grant Programme to fund R&D projects aiming to find products that can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of the new type of coronavirus and to develop  protective products that are effective in preventing diseases.

Process
- Supported projects are monitored every six months.
- For each monitoring period, TÜBİTAK’s contribution to the project budget is transferred to the technology provider after the client organization deposits its share of the budget to the project account.

- The project proposals are evaluated by expert panels.
- A contract is signed between TÃœBÄ°TAK and applicants for projects deemed eligible for support.

- Project proposals are submitted to TÃœBÄ°TAK via the PRODÄ°S application on the internet address https://eteydeb.tubitak.gov.tr.Â
- Project applications can be submitted to the Program at any time.Â
