Türkiye is a member of The International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), since 1989. ICGEB provides researchers with financial support and the opportunity to carry out research who wish to study in the fields of infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, medical biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, and plant biology and biotechnology.
Applications for ICGEB Doctoral and Postdoctoral Short and Long Term Research Fellowships are made twice a year, and the deadline for applications for the first term of 2024 is March 31, 2024.
