2nd Calls For TEYDEB 1501-1507 Programs For 2023 Are Open For Applications

In order to support the project-based research, technology development and innovation activities of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), two calls are opened in January and July each year within the scope of the 1501-Industrial R&D Projects Grant Programme and the 1507-SME R&D Start-up Support Programme carried out by the Technology and Innovation Support Programs Directorate (TEYDEB).

However, due to the earthquake disasters in our country, the closing dates for the 1501 and 1507 program 2023-1 period calls have been extended. For this reason, TEYDEB 1501-Industrial R&D Projects Grant Programme and 1507-SME R&D Start-up Support Programme applications for the 2nd period of 2023 will start to be received on https://eteydeb.tubitak.gov.tr as of 21.08.2023.  

Two important changes to the scope of calls are as follows.

1. An additional 5 points will be awarded to projects submitted in partnership.

2. Within the scope of 1501-Industrial R&D Projects Grant Program, the project application duration limit is determined as 24 months. However; as a result of the evaluation to be made upon the request of the organization, the project support duration may be increased once by a maximum of fifty percent (50%) not exceeding thirty-six months, if the project will not be completed within 24 months due to the durations required by the studies that will enable the project output to turn into a commercial product such as prototype tests and clinical tests due to technological requirements or special conditions specific to the working subjects in the monitoring process of the projects to be supported.

Notes on the Call Schedule

1. In order to apply, the organization-based pre-registration application must be submitted to TÜBİTAK. The specified date is the deadline for sending the organization-based pre-registration application to TÜBİTAK via PRODIS. Pre-registration documents must reach TÜBİTAK at least one business day before the call closing date. If the pre-registration approval cannot be given due to the deficiency in the organization-based pre-registration documents, the responsibility belongs to the organization. There is no need to wait for the call opening date for organization-based pre-registration. For this reason, it is recommended that companies planning to apply for the call carry out organization-based pre-registration procedures without losing time. 2. Organizations that have previously received organization-based pre-registration approval will not re-register on an organization-based basis and will not send pre-registration documents.

3. This is the last date when project proposals can be submitted via PRODIS. Organization-based pre-registration approval is mandatory for submission.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since the project proposals will be sent by e-signature, the e-signature must be provided or for the existing an e-signature, the e-signature validity periods must be checked and the e-signature must be renewed in case the e-signature validity period expires until the call closing date.
