Project of the Century: FATİH
TÜBİTAK is providing technical and R&D support for the FATİH
project according to the protocol signed between the Ministry of
Science, Industry, and Technology, the Ministry of Education, and
TÜBİTAK.
In the FATİH project, interactive boards have been installed
in 85,000 high school classrooms accessible to 4 million
students. In the pilot schools, 12,000 ninth-graders started
tablet-based education. The school infrastructure for 3,360
science high schools, Anatolian high schools, and regular
high schools is being constructed to provide the students with
classrooms containing the latest technology and high-speed
Internet access.
TÜBİTAK is working with a contemporary education approach
so that the next generation will be able to transform the
country to a level of higher development. Pardus for Interactive
Boards will be the operating system of 570,000 classrooms’
interactive boards.
