Technopreneurs
Introduced Their Projects
in Silicon Valley
The 10 most successful Turkish entrepreneurs were
sent to Silicon Valley in the United States through a new
grant programme called “2239 Grant Programme for
Education and Research Activities in Entrepreneurship
and Innovation.” TÜBİTAK gave support to these
entrepreneurs in the amount of $21,000 for education
cost, travel expenses, and accommodation.
The entrepreneurs participated in a training
programme for two days at the TÜBİTAK Gebze
branch before heading to the United States. Ten
entrepreneurs will be sent to Silicon Valley each year
as part of this programme.
