BALiSTiKA unravels the unsolved cases in the criminal investigation
Meeting all the criteria of success, BALİSTİKA met General
Directorate of Security’s expectations completely.
With the help of the system developed by TUBITAK SPACE, the
problems often faced by ballistic experts during the examination
of marks left on cartridge cases and bullets by firearms will be
disseminated.
Effective and efficient results can be obtained in a short time
with BALISTIKA. BALİSTİKA enables matching cartridge cases
and bullets found at crime scenes with the ones in a central
database. One of the most important features of BALISTIKA is
image capturing and display capability in 3D. As a matter of fact,
