Grant Programme
TÜBİTAK developed the 1507-SME Research, Development, and
Innovation Grant Programme in order to increase SMEs’ productivity,
share in the value-added national economy, and international
competitiveness. New improvements have also been made to this
programme. For example, the amount of funding has been increased
from 223,000$ to 278,000$.
The programme’s aims for SMEs are the following:
• To improve their technological and innovative capacity
• To become more competitive
• To obtain knowledge and experience about R&D projects
• To produce value-added products
• To obtain research and technological development experience
• To take an active role in national and international research
programmes
