Terms of Application

  • To be a Turkish citizen,
  • To have a valid Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) score of at least 75 or to have a GRE or GMAT score equivalent to this score
  • To have grade point average (GPA) where to be studied,
    • For those who have completed their undergraduate education, to have a GPA of at least 2.50/4.00 or 65/100,
    • For those who have completed the master's degree with thesis, to have completed the undergraduate program with a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 or 65/100 and the master's with GPA at least 3.00/4 or 76.66/100
    • Those who have studied abroad but whose transcripts are not arranged according to the quartile or one hundred system, should prove their declaration at the time of application with the original conversion table showing the equivalent of each grade prepared by the university that issued the transcript in case they are selected as a scholars. (In cases where the document cannot be obtained, the conversion table can be obtained from web page of Higher Council of Turkey (YÖK).
    • Students who have not graduated yet (undergraduate senior year) can apply if they meet the GPA requirement at the application date. However, these students must graduate with a GPA of at least 2.50 / 4 or 65/100.
  • To meet one of the following foreign language conditions;
    • To have minimum 60 points from the Foreign Language Exams such as YDS or YÖKDİL exams valid for 5 years from the date of the examination or minimum 72 points from the TOEFL-IBT exam valid for 2 years from the date of the examination, or to have the scores obtained from the exams accepted by YÖK,
    • To have received an undergraduate or graduate diploma from an institution that teaches in a foreign language,
  • To be accepted by a university that is among at the top 100 universities in the THE (Times Higher Education) or QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings by subject as of last three years from the application date that is in one of the prioritized scientific field in the call text,
  • This program can be applied for a maximum of 3 times.
