Purpose of the Program
In order to contribute to the interdisciplinary collaboration between Natural and Social Sciences, PhD students in specific fields in Social Sciences and Humanities (Philosophy, History, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Archaeology and Art History, Theology, Political Science, a Turkish Language and Literature, Law, Psychology and Science, Technology and Society Studies), who previously graduated from Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technological Sciences, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, are granted montly scholarship to continue and complete their education.
- To be a Turkish citizen or to hold Blue Card
- To be enrolled in a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree program in Turkey (special students are not acceptable)
- To be registered at least 6th semester including conditional terms for post-Master’s PhD programs; or 8th semester for post-Bachelor’s PhD programs
- To have MSc degree with thesis for post-Master’s PhD programs (students who are enrolled in post- Master’s PhD programs without thesis are not acceptable)
- To have undergraduate degree (placed in the first 50 thousands in University Entrance Exam) in Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technological Sciences, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, and continue PhD education in Social Sciences and Humanities supported by the program.
- To be not supported before as a PhD student by this program
- To be full-time Ph.D. students and unemployed for the applicants having a scholarship for their Ph.D. studies from other public institutions at the time of their application
