Since 2016, TÜBİTAK's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) competition has been aiming to increase and disseminate the awareness of UAVs, to follow the technological developments in this field, and to contribute to these developments and also to provide technical and social experience to the participants. Unmanned aerial vehicles are generally referred to as rotary-winged and fixed-winged. The design, production, and control of these vehicles can be made as an amateur or professionally. UAVs have been a part of our daily lives.
The races are organized by TÜBİTAK’s Science and Community Programs Department and the technical rules are applied and supervised by the Advisory and Assessing Committee. This event, organized by TÜBİTAK, covers the associate, undergraduate, and graduate students of universities at national and international levels. Students must form a team for the competition. Each team must also have an academic advisor.
