Students representing Turkey won 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in the 2nd European Physics Olympics held in Moscow, capital city of Russia. Students representing Turkey in the competition has got the most successful results among all regional Olympics that our country had participated. From İstanbul Private Bahçeşehir Science and Technology High School, Cem Arda Tepe won the gold medal while Alkın Kaz and Yunus Emre Parmaksız won silver medals. Metin Ersin Arıcan from Bursa Nilüfer İMKB Science High School and Artun Bayer from İstanbul Private Bahçeşehir Science and Technology High School won bronze medals. Students moved Turkey to the 3rd place with 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals they win in the 2nd European Physics Olympics in which 115 students participated from 23 countries.
