Great Success of Our Students at The 49th International Physics Olympics

Our national team participating in the 49th International Physics Olympics returned home with 1 gold, 4 silver medals.

Cem Arda Tepe, Yunus Emre Parmaksız, Alkin Kaz and Artun Bayer from Bahçeşehir High School of Science and Technology; Metin Ersin Arıcan from Bursa İMKB Science High School represented our country at the 49th International Physics Olympics held in Lisbon, Portugal. Cem Arda Tepe (gold), Yunus Emre Parmaksız, Alkın Kaz, Artun Bayer and Metin Ersin Arıcan (silver) won medals.

Within the scope of the International Science Olympics Program carried out under the Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB), young scientists trained in our national teams successfully represented our country in the international arena by winning 1 gold, 4 silver medals. 90 countries and 412 students participated in the the 49th International Physics Olympics which is the most comprehensive one among International Physics Olympics.
