A Cooperation Protocol has been signed between TUBITAK and the French National Research Agency

A cooperation protocol between The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and the French National Research Agency (ANR) on joint calls for collaborative research projects has been signed during the visit of the French President, François Hollande made to the Presidential Residence in Çankaya.

The President of France, François Hollande, has made a state visit to Turkey as the invitee of President Abdullah Gül. Many important agreements with energy being in the first place will strengthen the cooperation between the two countries. These agreements were signed before the Press Conference organized in the Presidential Residence.  Within this framework, a “Protocol between TUBITAK and ANR on Joint Calls for Collaborative Research Projects” has been signed.

The Protocol provides for the support of joint research projects between the two institutions and has been signed by the President of TUBITAK, Prof. Dr. Yücel Altunbaşak on behalf of TUBITAK, and by the General Director of ANR, Pascale Briand on behalf of ANR.

The Protocol between TUBITAK and ANR is important for the development of cooperation opportunities between the two institutions. It is planned to support joint research projects that will be submitted by Turkish and French researchers via the joint calls that will be opened within the framework of the signed Protocol.
