Scope of Support

The BiGG + Mentor Interface Call was opened with the aim of supporting activities for the establishment and implementation of mentoring mechanisms to increase business development and innovation capacities of SMEs.

Mentor Interface (BIGG +) Call

More than 99% of enterprises in Turkey is small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) status. SMEs need increased productivity, growth and institutionalization in order to overcome the competitive pressure brought by economic and technological changes. Access to external information resources and development of in-house learning competencies are important factors in meeting these needs. SMEs can increase their awareness of compliance with competitive conditions with the mentoring service and solve problems they encounter in the change process more easily.

1. Who can apply?

Capital companies settled in Turkey which are Small or Medium sized Enterprise (SMEs) may apply.

2. When to apply 1507 support program?

Applications to the 1507 - Initial R&D Support Program for SME’s are made according to call announcements. Call announcements may be followed at www.tubitak.gov.tr. In general, two calls are opened annually, and generally, applications are made in January-February and July-August.

3. How to apply?

Method

Supported projects are monitored every six months.

At the beginning of each monitoring period, the customer deposits his or her own contribution into the project account. Then, the support provided by TUBITAK to the project is transferred to the project account.
