Five female scientists, who have contributed to the development of “Life Sciences” or “Physics” in the world of international science, have been awarded the "L'Oréal-UNESCO International Awards", each year since 1998. The L'Oréal-UNESCO International awards will be presented in 2019 in the fields of “Physics”, “Mathematics” and “Computer Science”, and internationally successful female scientists nomination process for the award will be made electronically via https://www.forwomeninscience.com. The deadline for nominations is June 29, 2019. More detailed information about the scholarship is available on the website of the National Commission for UNESCO (www.unesco.org.tr). Five prominent female scientists working in five regions, including the African-Arab States, Asia-Pacific, Europe-Latin America and North America, will be eligible for a prize of € 100,000. In this context, the nomination should be based on the place where scientists work, not on their nationality.
