2019 Calls of The Southeast Asia and Europe Joint Funding Scheme (SEA-EU JFS) to be opened

The 2019 Calls for proposals of The Southeast Asia and Europe Joint Funding Scheme (SEA-EU JFS), which is the continuation of the SEA-EU Net project carried out within the framework of European Union Framework Programmes, are planned to be opened in June 2019.

Within the scope of the calls to be opened in Science and Technology (S&T) and Innovation, project proposals consisting of at least three project partners, either two from Southeast Asia, one from European countries or vice versa, will be supported in accordance with the 2+1 rule.

• The S&T call in the thematic areas a) Integrated Water Resource Management and b) Nanotechnologies up to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4. 
• The Innovation call in the thematic areas a) Infectious Diseases (including Antimicrobial Resistance) and b) Smart Cities with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) which is higher than 3.
